Punta Cana 2012

Jason and I went to Punta Cana for our vacation and is was beautiful!  80 degree weather every day and sun....can't get much better than that!  We stayed at the Dreams Palm Beach Resort and it was a great resort, especially for kids.  I think I would really have to think about taking Cooper out of the country for any vacation like that, but this resort I would definitely feel comfortable taking my kids to.  Great food, great people, great everything!  The only downfall was that it was a 4 hour plane ride there and a 5 hour plane ride home.  But, I read couple of books and lots of solitaire was played.  :)

 Jason was chosen to participate during the circus show.  They sat all  guys in a chair and had them lay down on each others laps.  Once everyone was laying down, they removed one chair at a time.  When all 4 chairs were removed, they told them to stand up and they all fell down!

vacation

In case anyone is wondering where Jason took me for vacation, we are in Punta Cana!!  We are staying at the Dreams Palm Beach Resort....beautiful.  We miss our little guy like crazy, but we're having a great time.  It's rained a few times and it was windy the past couple of days, but it's gorgeous out today and we couldn't ask for better weather.  I'll be sure to post pics when we return!!! 

1 year well check and maggie update

Cooper's 1 year well check went well.  All is good and he hated the 3 shots.  He weighed in at 26 lbs even and is 31.25 inches.  I was impressed with how good he was being that our appt was at 10:15 and we didn't even get out of there until 11:30.  And it was over his lunch time.  Good thing I brought snacks for the little guy! 

And in Maggie news, she saw her regular pediatrician this morning and she doesn't have to be admitted to the hospital again!  My sister was told that she has a nasty, nasty stomach bug that could last for 2 weeks, but they just need to basically force feed her to keep her hydrated.  She's still not feeling the greatest, but it will just take some time before Maggie is back to 100%.  Feel better soon, sweetheart!

Maggie

Please keep our niece, Maggie, in your thoughts and prayers.  She's got a stomach bug that is making her sick and dehydrated.  She spent two nights in the hospital this week and when I talked to my sister today, she said Maggie didn't have a good night last night.  So, she's taking her back up today where she thinks they're going to admit Maggie again.  And today Maggie is 3 months old!  Such a big girl!  Get to feeling better soon, Maggie.  We love you very much!

1 year old

I can't believe I have a 1 year old.  Where has the time gone?!  This year has been the best year of our lives and we have loved watching Cooper grow into a little boy.  He's walking all over the place!  I'm not sure exactly what his stats are since his well check got messed up, but we'll find out tomorrow.  He's currently in 18 month pants, 24 month shirts, and size 5 diapers.  He's got 8 teeth and is eating all big people food!  And the one thing we're most happy with is that he's done with formula!!!!  We just love our little guy so much and we're looking forward to watching him grow in the next year.  Happy Birthday, Cooper!!! 

1st birthday party

Even though Cooper's 1st birthday isn't until this Thursday, January 12th, we celebrated it this past weekend.  My family as well as Jason's Dad and Mary were there and we all had a very nice time.  I think Cooper enjoyed himself as well.  :)
