door county

This past weekend, we drove up to Door County, WI to spend some time with the Greg-Lo-Dan's, or Gregory's, Loesch's, and Danner's.  We had a blast and Jason's family is so great.  We had many, many laughs and wish we could have spent more time with them.  Hopefully we'll get to see them sooner rather than later and before Cooper starts walking.  :) 

We drove up Friday and had happy hour when we got there, then we all went to one of the rooms and had dinner.  On Saturday, we left in the morning, drove to Egg Harbor where we ate breakfast, then drove to Peninsula State Park and did some sight seeing.  We also went on the ferry and checked out Washington Island.  That night, we went to a fish boil in the town of Fish Creek, which is a neat little town.  The fish boil was pretty interesting, but I had chicken anyway.  :)  Door County is a beautiful place and if we get a next time to go there, we'll probably spend an extra day to see everything we didn't get to see this time.
